DigiGoCare ("we", "us", "our") is a clinic management platform operated by DigiGoCare / DigiGo Care Pvt. Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use the DigiGoCare mobile application and web platform.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide the DigiGoCare service:
Account and Identity Information
- Clinic name, address, and contact details
- Staff names, email addresses, and phone numbers
- Doctor names, specialisations, and registration numbers
Patient Information (entered by clinic staff)
- Patient name, date of birth, gender, phone number, and email address
- Appointment history and clinical notes entered by authorised clinic staff
- Billing and payment records associated with consultations
Usage and Technical Information
- Login timestamps and session activity
- Aggregate usage statistics collected via PostHog to help us improve the product
Payment Information
- Subscription payment transactions are processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or banking credentials. Razorpay's privacy policy governs data they collect during payment processing.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the DigiGoCare platform
- Allow clinic staff to manage appointments, patient records, and billing
- Send appointment-related notifications and system alerts
- Diagnose errors and improve the reliability of the service
- Process subscription payments
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- Razorpay: For processing subscription payments (financial data only)
- Sentry: Error logs that may include limited technical context (no patient health records are sent to Sentry)
- PostHog: Aggregate usage analytics (no patient PII is sent to PostHog)
- Hosting providers: Our servers are hosted on AWS. Data is stored in encrypted form.
We do not share patient health records or personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party not listed above.
5. Data Security
All data transmitted between your device and DigiGoCare servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Access to patient data is restricted to authenticated clinic staff with appropriate role-based permissions. We conduct periodic reviews of our security practices.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and patient data for as long as your clinic subscription is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter in accordance with applicable law. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your Rights — Data Deletion and Access
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or your clinic
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@digigocare.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note: deletion of clinic account data will permanently remove all associated patient records, appointment history, and billing data and cannot be undone.
8. Children's Privacy
DigiGoCare is intended for use by healthcare professionals and clinic staff. It is not directed at individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
